Popular APC political singer in Battle with Prof.isa Ali pantami

Popular APC political singer Dauda Kahutu, widely known as Rarara, has ignited widespread debate across political circles following the release of a controversial political track targeted at the former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy and PDP governorship candidate in Gombe State, Sheikh Isa Ali Pantami.

The fast-tempo song, produced in support of APC candidate Jamilu Gwamna, directly attacks Sheikh Pantami's character, accusing him of illicit drug use and questioning his integrity as both an Islamic scholar and a political candidate.

The lyrics of the track feature repetitive, hard-hitting insult couplets delivered over upbeat traditional Hausa drums, punctuated by call-and-response choruses from backup vocalists.

Central lyric driving controversy: "Malam ya sha kwaya ta ko ina, ya sha ba ma shawara" - translated as "The Mallam takes drugs from everywhere, taking them without listening to advice."

The song's composition relies heavily on personal derision and derogatory accusations rather than policy issues, contrasting Sheikh Pantami's scholarly persona with damaging allegations in an attempt to undermine his electoral prospects in Gombe State.

The release has sparked debate across political and religious circles, with many accusing Rarara of crossing moral lines by using drug allegations against a respected cleric for partisan gain.
