Tambuwal Attends Funeral Prayers and Burial of Former Finance Minister, Alhaji Abubakar Alhaji
Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, CFR, on Thursday attended the funeral prayers and burial of elder statesman, former Minister of Finance and Sardaunan Sokoto, Alhaji Abubakar Alhaji, who passed away after decades of distinguished service to Nigeria.

Senator Tambuwal described the late Sardaunan Sokoto as a distinguished public servant, accomplished administrator and patriotic Nigerian whose remarkable contributions to the development of the country would remain indelible.
He noted that through his service as a Federal Permanent Secretary, Minister of Finance, and Nigeria's High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, the late Alhaji Abubakar Alhaji demonstrated exceptional competence, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to the Nigerian project.
The sultan of Sokoto and waziri aminu TambuwalAccording to Senator Tambuwal, the death of the elder statesman is an immense loss to his family, the Sokoto Caliphate, and Nigeria as a whole, adding that he belonged to a generation of public servants whose wealth of experience, institutional knowledge, and devotion to national service remain worthy of emulation.
The Senator extended his heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Alhaji Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar III, the Sokoto State Government, and the entire people of Sokoto State.
He prayed that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgives the shortcomings of the late elder statesman, accepts his good deeds, grants him Aljannatul Firdaus, and gives his family and all those affected by the loss the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
