BREAKING: NAFDAC Set to Push for Recruitment of 5,000 New Staff!



 

The Director-General of NAFDAC, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, has revealed that the agency urgently needs at least 5,000 additional personnel to effectively regulate food, drugs, cosmetics, and other products across Nigeria.


According to her, NAFDAC currently has only about 2,000 staff serving over 240 million Nigerians, making it difficult to carry out its responsibilities nationwide. She expressed optimism that the Federal Government will provide the needed support after discussions with the Minister of Finance.


 Please note: This is not yet an official recruitment announcement. The DG appealed for the employment of 5,000 additional staff, and applicants should await an official recruitment notice from NAFDAC.
